Cambodia's Most Popular Expat Community Forums: Breaking News | Blogs | Nightlife | Khmer Culture | Information | Living, Working & Moving to Cambodia https://cambodiaexpatsonline.com/
As a bi-product of a recent thread, my PM inbox and email's contain messages that support having a polite, non-judgemental, non 'Slag-Fest' area for those, the quiet, polite members.
So, I thought, why not try a little experiment. Start a new thread and see how well it is used.
In this thread, lets chat, politely about this and that.
I find that there is so much to read on here, that I fear I must miss loads of stuff, buried in the dark depths of the lower sections, on this and other forums. So, how about posts like:
'Hey have you checked out .......'' I read it and think that it offered a very interesting perspective on life on a Cambodian countryside small holding'
Then we can discuss and critique it in a nice way.
The thread, obviously welcomes all members but please leave personal attacks, negativity, sarcasm and even puns, at the door please. Just on this single thread, so we can see and discuss how our little Social Experiment pans out
Now, will anyone call or will I sit alone on this little thread?

Love it! We have a place for the keyboard warriors, so it would be great to have an area where people have a more positive interaction with each other. We have seen threads on lack of content, perhaps this lack of common courtesy is one of the reasons.

Hi, that is Ok it is one thread of 1892 thread, so loads of others for you to go and be less tactile on.
Here may or may not become popular, that is all part of the social experiment, I guess.
I will still be mooching about on the others but, I just thought it might be nice to start this one to allow a place for those who do not feel comfortable with the sharpness of some of the others. Each to there own.
The most popular thread right now appears to be one about the pros and cons of stuff you snort or inject. Not really my sort of thing
but thanks for passing by, hopefully others will follow in your wake
