Hi everyone, here's my first post, cheers!

I would like to find a job there and move. Truthfully I met someone there that I'd like to give it a go with.

I'd very much appreciate suggestions, Thanks in advance!

@OP, ignore some posts. If things seem too good to be true, they usually are.

Do a CELTA at ACE in Siem Reap, around $1800, you will get work easily after that.

First: Learn the difference between "advise" and "advice".

Second: Read every post about jobs, work permits, visas, and cost of living.

Anything is possible. Good luck.

Honest advice from one who has worked in cambodia in hospitality, come with at least 100USD per week for your predicted tour.

Example

3 months =1200$ USD

1 year =5200$ USD

This is on top of your salary BTW.

You need it for back up for things like

Apartment bond

Medical issues

Moto rental

Visas

Work permits

Try to apply while you are in Cambodia, that's always better.
while my field is IT & Hospitality i have no idea about teaching English, but i hear from people online that the best way to apply is to approach multiple schools in PP or SR and give your CV, for sure you will have an opportunity.

Good luck.

Thanks for all the good replies. I met a lot of ppl that teach while there and that gave me the idea, but I'd be happy doing any job that paid the bills.

I have not been home for 24 hours yet. I sure wish I knew to apply while there but I had no idea about visa's, etc. I have a lot to research.

Btw I am familiar with boats. where do I send my CV!! Lol

That genius has given you good advice. The only thing I'd add is that you shouldn't use your real name as your user name on this forum. That goes double for people from Florida.
