ANZ Takhmau

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

ANZ Takhmau

This is were they were, now gone. Have they gone bankrupt , too much competition , downsizing or the start of pulling out of Asia.
They have left not a single trace of blue paint or office chair behind to say they were once here.

Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.

They've moved, along with the ATM, to a bigger location, further South.

They had noticed displayed informing customers about the move for a few months.

I asked the security guy there and he said now go Phnom Penh. typical.

Where is their new location, as I would like to avoid them as much as possible.

They pulled out of Vietnam for sure. Some Chinese bank took over their stuff in HCMC

Far from remaining monarchical, hierarchy-ridden subjects on the margin of civilization, Americans had become, almost overnight, the most liberal, the most democratic, the most commercial minded, and the most modern people in the world." - Gordon S. its says alot when the foreign partner pulls out leaving the local partner high and dry, traditionally ANZ have never been very successful to break out of NZ / OZ market unlike the big international banks like HSBC, Citi, Standchart, deutsche, BNP, UBS etc, looks like royal group only tag along for the ride as ANZ needed a local partner when starting this business venture, did a little research on J trust, expect more volatility, time to close account at ANZ
