I would advise this chap to wait. After she calms down from the crazy ice binge she likely went on after hocking the Scoopy-i for a $500 of rocks, she'll be back. When she returns he can try and squeeze a grand out of that ropey-old bint, I'm sure that'll work out for ya gramps.
