This a story I read while pottering around on Facebook:

Phirum Khun
19 July 2013
In cambodia have 2 kind of thief, one kind without uniform other kind is with uniform.
Yesterday lunch time I found my car on st.110. This car is driving around Phnom Penh everyday by the Chief Police officer of Toul Sangker district.
He found my car on the small street in his area and he keep it as his personal belong.
And now I want my car back he said I need to pay money as the thieve who stole my car parked it on the small street in front of the small guesthouse in his area and stole one motor bike there.
The police officer in my district (Chaktomuk) told me that the police officer in Toul Sangker district is completely wrong as he found my car but not report to other districts.

sometimes the offending individual finds a fatal unforeseen circumstance within a few years.

cambodian people are not exactly passive and compliant.

they have a certain vigilante approach to justice.
