Anybody else sticking around the city for Pchum Benh weekend? Planning my stay-cation, wondering if there's anything cool going on...

Its the best time to just get on your moto and explore the city. Its the only time when I dont get irritated and pissed at other drivers. A few years ago there was close to zero people on the roads. The last couple years more and more are staying in PP.

True. Though it's wise to be even more cautious on the road as those that do stay are often as drunk as usual, but drive much faster due to the lack of traffic.

Yes there is. Comedy in Cambodia is hosting its first ever theatre show at the Department of Performing Arts on Friday September 22.

The link to the Facebook event page is here:

And the Google Maps location for the damned place is here: https://goo.gl/5c6i6G

Tickets are on sale now at Seabird's Place, 3 Mangos, The Box Office, and Barb & Lotus (the bar of the Pacific Hotel on Monivong Blvd). $10 each, but buy them this weekend and get 3 for the price of 2!

Enjoy the city at its quietest; many places will be open(not the markets however) or else wish you were some place else. Sen Monorom is worth a trip.

Get drunk early. Go to bed. Recover. Get drunk again. Rinse and repeat.

If you want a break from the bars, try getting high... in a healthy way ?

Getting high in Phnom Penh
15 September 2017
- Cambodia’s first indoor climbing gym is attracting both young and old who want to test themselves and literally scale new heights.
Opened in October 2015 by a couple of expats, Phnom Penh Climb Community Gym near the Russian Market allows people to test their limits in a safe environment.

Set in a huge warehouse with a very high roof, the 25-metre high bouldering wall is a challenge, but climbers wear safety harnesses so if they slip or lose their grip, they won’t fall and injure themselves.

Taking one year to build, the Phnom Penh Climb Community Gym is the only one of its type in the kingdom.
