The criteria are not for Hippies (the last one died ca. 1974 in Goa) but your regular, run-of-the mill soap dodgers.

How to identify a hippy.

Not bothered about hair do's or hair don't's.
Doesn't have any MFI investments.
Thinks quite rightly that most business men are the devil's own spawn.
If you ask where to buy good weed, he will tell you.
If you ask him to get you some weed, he will charge you exactly the same price he paid himself.
Often to be found trying to clean up everybody else's rubbish, especially at the beach.
Hates sun loungers, McDonald's and other comercial bullshit that "plastic people" can't get enough of.
Prefers weed to booze.
Prefers natural products to chemical mass produced one's.
Prefers to try to save the Earth for his children, than trying hard to destroy it for them for the sake of excessive​ profits NOW.

There's a little bit of hippy in most people trying to get out. Yes, even you SnookieBoy, or you Hanno. OK, you can have CamNivag.

In Uganda they used to write SHIT in your passport. Suspected Hippy In Transit.
