Another new house

Family member wanted to borrow $5000 to build a house on some land 10m x 15m that his mother in law had given them. Borrow usually means you never get paid back. Instead of handing over $5k and showing I'm rich, I opted to pay for it bit by bit. So far has cost about $3,000, for the 5m x 7 m building and he has showed me receipts for everything except the labour, $600, cause they have not finished yet. The floor is built up nearly 1m because the river behind sometimes floods.

And you see how holding back actually accomplishes things? Giving it all at one time would've lost it for sure!

Down a side road ???? off road 21 at Saa aang.

There is probably about another $2,000 or more to spend on the roof, and tiles for the floor.

Will show a update when finished.

UPDATE,,,, Had the roof put on last week which cost $1,150, being $ 200 cheaper than the first quote.
Next on the list are floor tiles, price quoted is $650 for the 5m x 7m. . Paint $?? , leantoo roof at the back which will be used for cooking, and at the front, a roof with security grill on the sides which will be used as a shop. They already have a '' shop '' next door that sells the usual Cambodian bits and pieces .
