Hello everyone!

My name is Sabrina. I will be interning in Phnom Penh for two months this summer (July, August). I am looking for websites, places, and activities that help new people in the city meet expats or long-term travellers. I want to get the best out of my time in Cambodia so I really want to meet some cool people to become friends, chat, go for dinner and beers, or travel during the weekends!
Please let me know if you have ideas how to meet people easily in Phnom Penh

Plenty of FB site out there catering to expats. Check Expats in Phnom Penh.

There is also the Hash House Harriers, a running club with a drinking problem. They meet every Sunday to head for the countryside for a run/walk followed by a few beers and a dinner.

i dont really hang out with that many expats in Cambodia, only really posters from here or friends ive met over time,
stick around and find out the areas, locations of expat bars where it would be a good place to meet, tinder/badoo apps could be a foot in to some social circles

Go to Kampot....hard to avoid expats there.

Go to a bar pull up a stool.

Be prepared to get bored very quickly.

Oscars on the Corner -104 (after 10pm)
Taco Kokopellis on Sundays from 5pm (can’t think of the street)

Those are good spots to start.
