Prolly done 1000 times already, but any links/ advice as to the easiest/cheapest way to do this? Seems I have to issue myself a work permit and, well, the business has to come sometime...

Just look it up on the ´Cambodia Visa and Work Permit' FB group, it's all there in many shades of grey

hire a 120$ admin, ask her go to MEF website to register, after that run to ministries all day long pushing paperwork, cheaper than paying agents 2000$ for a biz license

Business licences are only $120. Try not to earn enough money to get taxed and then no-one cares about the rest. cf any bar in Cambodia
