Well, at least people will know they'll need to avoid the Russian Federation boulevard in the morning tomorrow.

In the online expat communities Rainsey seem to be hated for his racism toward the VN. But in term of the locals who have animosity toward the VN, I share their sentiment. I speak semi-fluent VN and I shared my view to some of my VN here; they weren't fond of their countrymen either.

I dont like Rainsey because he is French, I dislike him because he is a 2 face clown. Who abandoned his supporters who are still in prison to this day; fled the country then traveling around the Khmer communities in the US telling how much he cares about the Cambodia.

I suppose his current travel is a strategic one.

Rainsey may not be the answer, but its a fact that Vietnam and its military own the government (and corporations ) in Cambodia. Just look at the way Angkor Air (a Vietnam Air surrogate) has gotten the government to block airlines from being able to fly to Sihanoukville. (This includes, but is not limited to Air Asia and Cambodian Air.) When researching telecoms in Cambodia one name pops up time after time, "Vietnam Military Telecom."

Well that's pretty definitive. I understand Vietnam also owns the governments of Haiti and Mozambique where Viettel operates.

Fair-Game. Do the research on Cambo-Vietnam and come back and tell me who and who doesn't pull the strings in Cambo and corporations here.

I am with Sailorman. JBtrain seems to be always a pro Vietnamese whenever the Cambodia-VN issues/topics arise.

Because CNRP is usually off base. See Chinese land concessions and industry about which Rainsy doesn't seem to care because they are not the enemy. VN government bites and their influence is strong for obvious reasons but they don't control Cambodia.
