Just look at the way Angkor Air (a Vietnam Air surrogate) has gotten the government to block airlines from being able to fly to Sihanoukville. (This includes, but is not limited to Air Asia and Cambodian Air.) When researching telecoms in Cambodia one name pops up time after time, "Vietnam Military Telecom."

Because CNRP is usually off base. See Chinese land concessions and industry about which Rainsy doesn't seem to care because they are not the enemy. VN government bites and their influence is strong for obvious reasons but they don't control Cambodia.
