Just a regular Saturday night in Siem Reap

So we are in Siem Reap for a few days and walked back to our hotel tonight after dinner.

Just near Kuriosity Kafe a group of barang (a few guys and a girl) were acting like complete cunts (sorry but there's no other word that will do). They were camped on the side of the road in front of one of the restaurants, with their bottles of alcohol on the ground. Obviously drug fucked and drunk.

There was a huge muddy puddle at the side of the road and they were taking great pleasure in splashing everyone that drove or walked past, then laughed hysterically when people got pissed off.
Security from the restaurant was trying to get them to stop, but they just kept on being dickheads.

There was a crowd of people milling around so pissed off with them but not able to do anything. Ric wasn't going to let them get away with being bullies, it's just not the Aussie way.

They weren't laughing after their bottles of grog got smashed though - Ric waited until they were distracted by all the splashing and laughing, walked up behind them and broke all three bottles with one decent kick. It was a pretty impressive display!

They stopped laughing then. :) Three of them tried to be intimidating - one even tried a kick in Ric's direction but they were too far gone to be effective.

When we walked away, a couple of tuktuks drove alongside us to make sure they didn't follow us.

Just wanted to share a story about fucked up foreigners that aren't in SNV.

Those are the silly things young people do until someone beats the shit out of them.

It's how people grow up.

Usually spoiled kids who haven't learned their lesson already.

Gutted nobody kicked the water on their heads though. Much more devastating than having to buy a new beer.

These were people in their mid 30's, not kids. That was the surprising part.

SHV tuk tuks would have already fixed those drunks themselves. Locals here aren't as meek as the SReapers.

Were they expats or backpackers?
