LTO has Passed Away

Post by LaudJohn »

I am in Singapore right now but news has reached me that the poster known as LTO (Ken Cramer of the Canby Guides) has just been drowned.

He was on the way back from a boat trip and fell down between two boats and was swept away by a swift current. His body has not yet been found.

He was due to fly back to the USA in a couple of days as his mother is dying, she has been informed.

His wife is understandably distraught and he has left behind a couple of children that he adored.

Ken was a really nice guy, someone who had been here for decades. No one had a bad word to say about him. He is someone who will be sorely missed.

Rest in Peace Ken.

PS: I know people will question this but my source is impeccable.

No... This is just terrible news.

I was just thinking of Ken yesterday, as I saw him post about the night Peter Hogan (founder of Khmer440) died, and it gave me flashbacks about the whole event.

A bit shocking to hear this, and wish you were wrong, but you're unfortunately very reliable.

Ken's death was already reported in the news earlier, but we didn't even realize who it was at the time.

Also, you might not know this, but this well-known video was taken by Ken and he got a lot of grief for it in Cambodia many, many years ago. He actually changed his nickname for a while in order to escape the attention:

RIP Ken.

Tragic, the best always go too early it seems. RIP.
Edit: was just informed the incident occurred while he was off loading from a sunset cruise boat (Cambo Cruise)
