Medicinal marijuana is now legal in Australia

The Narcotic Drugs Amendment Act 2016, which came into effect on Sunday, allows businesses to apply for a licence to cultivate cannabis or manufacture cannabis products for medicinal purposes, or to conduct related research.
Health Minister Minister Sussan Ley said the changes would give patients and doctors access to a safe, reliable and legal source of cannabis for medicinal use.

Interesting to see that it has now become a federal decision, instead of a state by state decision - a la Joh Bjelke as compared to Neville Rand.
Doesn't affect me personally anymore, because I have been drug free for almost 2 years ( yeah, yeah, EXCEPT for beer and nicotine), but ABOUT FUCKING TIME this happened and you KNOW I am serious when I actually take the effort to spell " Fukn'" correctly!
This US drug war created to many criminals, out of to many good, honest, upstanding people worldwide.
