I have a few photos to share so thought I would just put them in one thread. Feel free to add your own pics and stories.
For those who can't see, this guy is sitting on a chair suspended by ropes while he fixes the aircon. What could possibly go wrong???

So this guy is fixing the aircon, three floors up. Note the bare feet.
He is unscrewing the aircon unit to replace it. Ric took the picture, I couldn't watch.

So the driver of this taxi is the guy in the striped shirt- yes, that's him, the one on the phone!

Don't worry, I can see a blue safety sheet ready to catch him or the aircon , for who/what ever falls first.

Yeah, it's horrific to see perfectly avoidable accidents waiting to happen on a daily basis.
Would be great to see industry sponsored training facilities, and a functioning organisation such as Health & Safety Executive [HSE] at work.
Highly unlikely but hopefully someday.

You see stuff like this pretty much every day.
Yesterday I saw a guy on the back of a moto with a large pane of glass.
On the way to Sihanoukville I saw a van with 11 mattresses stacked on its roof.
Just everyday stuff.

We are used to it, but it's amazing to newbies.

Yeah, the large panes of glass on the back of a motorbike are quite something. Large ladders sideways are impressive but at least you can see them coming, most of the time anyway. Duck and cover.
