Looks like they found the body of a 44 year old American male today, July 9, tossed in a garbage dump.

I can't tell if it says he's an expat or tourist. I'm guessing he's an expat English teacher, based on his CV picture.

Wow this is pretty unusual. Definately looks like gang-related but it might just be "normal" thieves/robbers trying to cover up their tracks. I doubt someone he didn't know would go to such lengths...

However, it sounds like he might be a certified teacher from the States, not a TEFLer.

Based on timeframe, it's possible he hadn't even started working in Cambodia as an English teacher yet.
