I've lived the expat lifestyle since the early 90's. I've met nationalism from various ugly angles. Here I am a white dude, a long nose.

I don't like white shirts, I don't shave every morning, I don't have a flashy ride,

So I guess I'd be an undesirable, yet, when I hand over cash at the supermarket for bread and butter I still get a smile and a thank you.

Life is ok.

So I ask you dear pompous Cambodian, snooping into my online business affairs, checking on me being a pedo or not,
breaking my line at the cash register, stealing my shitty old moto, or telling me that my domicile is a dump, for not being a $800 overpriced fuckhaven
with fake leather sofas and a cappuccino machine..

Shouldn't you just be happy with my business? And that the sun still shines over your troubled little nation?

Yeah I should have done that, I have some footage of dirty kids getting real close,
but it's not a huge concern to me anymore, I think they know who I am,

i.e. not a bendover type

but sure felt creepy at the time when I first came here.
