A safety factor of

Post by Duncan » Fri Mar 25, 2016 2:34 pm

I can imagine the results of this cheap Chinese made rope breaking and the ends of 8 steel rods hitting the ground and whatever is in the way. That rope looks new now , but by the time it's been used for a few days ???? the safety officer will be writing out a offence notice.

You do know that cameras have telephoto and zoom lenses don't you. I think I was about half a km away when I took that photo.
As for putting myself in harms way,, remind me again when I cross the road.

I notice a flip-flop.
"Life is too important to take seriously."

"Life does not cease to be funny when people die any more than it ceases to be serious when people laugh."

So you can tie a saddle or a crown? Do you know when and why to dry wipe or wet wipe? What is the maximum distance between props on a 300mm suspended slab?
What you have shown in your pic is just an average lift for an Ozzie construction worker. You Hump it, Lump it and Pump it.
