Get a cut anywhere under the water line and you'll be sorry.

^ Unless you wash it with soap, of course.

First time my bike has stopped due to water since I bought it.
This was on St. 240
Most of PC Market was under 1m of water at one stage.
Got 2 cuts on my shin, Olmeca tequila sterilised them (painful).

Cheers BKL!
That's some serious water Vlad, I'm so glad I didn't need to go anywhere this afternoon. I just waded out to get some beers.

Hmmm... my 98' TTR made it through above the knee high water.
Just out of interest how high does the water have to be to stall a bike? Does it get in via the exhaust, or the air intake?
My bike knowledge isn't amazing.

My neighbor's house below me had one foot of water. Neighbors said no houses had flooded in this area in 10 years.

Exhaust is no problem as long as the motor is running. My experience is that you run out of spark first, the lead or spark plug get wet and it's game over short-term. Only happened to me once in 3 years so far.
