Ordinary - Business Visa question.

Post by aussieexpat1068 »

Hi all.

I am looking at arriving in Cambodia via Phnom Penh and will be seeking an Ordinary-Business visa upon arrival.

After reading some conflicting websites about requiring a 'Supportive letter", could other members please clarify with me exactly what I need to achieve one?

Thanks

It seems a little hit or miss recently from what I've heard, but mostly an issue at the land borders and not the airport.

I've flown into Phnom Penh twice in the last 14 months and got an ordinary visa both times with no supporting paperwork or tea money. YMMV. Good luck.

I've met 3 people this week, that have flown in within the last 2 weeks and obtained the ordinary visa. No documentation required. It may be different at the land borders, but a quick $20 usually solves any problems!

Yeah I've heard the land borders can be a pain about it... but for sure whatever they're asking in a bribe is cheaper than the $100+ that the travel agencies want to change it from a tourist visa to an ordinary for an extension.
