What power AC?

Inverter or non-inverter?

What size room?

EDC rate or higher?

What size fridge?

What type, energy saver or non?

CRT TV or Led?

Laptop is negligible

I paid about $50 a month for that, and I was paying about 1,200 Riel per kilowatt.

I also had an "inverter" AC unit, which I think cut my costs down A LOT.

If you plan to stay a while, you might want to consider buying your own unit.

I bought it myself for around $400+ and used it at 3 different places. Even if they already had AC the landlords were cool with me installing it myself and just taking it out when I left.

I averaged $120 a month at my old house, no TV though, just a laptop and 1.5 kw AC run during the afternoon and night time.

This also included petrol though because the power wasn't so reliable at my place (out in the sticks). If petrol wasn't in the equation, maybe $75 a month.
