Where to hold fundraiser?

I'm looking for options for a consistent fundraising schedule for the charity I work for. So far, I have a raffle planned for September, but would like to schedule something for August as well. What would be of interest? Some ideas I've had include:

A pub-a-thon: A bar with various bar games needed. Entry fee for the competition itself, with the cash prize being half of the entry fee pool. Could include pool, karaoke, beer drinking, darts.

A movie night: Entry fee includes popcorn. Movie up for vote on our facebook.

A craft fair: Would require a big enough space/person to host, but could allow for small vendors, and live music.

Bar crawl/scavenger hunt: What it sounds like

Any other suggestions? Any locations you'd recommend to ask about?

I know a guy doing gigs in Phnom Penh in several bars, putting up a sign (with QR code) asking to support his charity, and everytime I see him perform I make a (small, I'm Dutch) donation.

I’m not sure the expat demographic in PP will be the most lucrative population.
And rich Khmer people generally don’t give money to NGOs (outside Red Cross). They will donate things and take plenty of photos showing their generosity- but generally don’t give cash.

Good point. I'm quite sure some privileged fat cows from my hometown could be more easily enticed to fund a charity in Cambodia, if you feed them the right sob stories and make them feel needed. Collecting money among expats sounds like hard work for slim pickings in comparison.

What I'm looking for is to host events that people would be interested in anyways, so that the point of attending is that you're actively having fun, not just because you want to donate to charity. The goal is a repeating monthly social event where part of the proceeds go towards the charity I work for (which is already established here). I'm aware of what kind of people live in pp, which is why I'm hoping to host events that people will want to attend for their own enjoyment.

I'd like to save up towards new equipment for the clinic that we can't otherwise afford, and failing that, we're always in need of more funds for charitable work like free vet care. I know that just giving money with nothing in return is unlikely, which is why I wanted to host events that people would be interested in attending. Ideally, $200-250 each month would be a great starter goal. If earlier events are successful, I would like to host larger events (such as the pride remorque race last month) like a winter charity ball, halloween party etc. Again, point is to get constant events up and running, because even if it's a low amount each time, consistency is key.

Did any of the event ideas I suggested sound interesting? If not, what would you suggest?
