Hello everyone,

I am planning a trip to Cambodia for this year and also need to work a few days.

I found a few good ones in Siem Reap and Phnom Penh, but I wondered if you guys have any recommendations?

And also important to me: How is the reception of 3G and 4G outside of the big cities?

In Siem Reap there are some pretty good coworking spaces, Angkor Hub and I forgot the other name. In PP you should definitely check out the coliving penthouse, it's next to the river. Amazing experience!

Every time I have needed a facility like this I just use Emerald Hub at PPIU. $5 for a day pass and everything just works. Very quiet. There is a Pizza Co. downstairs if you get hungry, and as usual in Cambodia, lots of coffee shops if you want a break.

Tbh, you'd have to be going to go pretty out there away from anything to have no reception. Between cellcard and smart you can moderate to good 4g speeds just about everywhere. I've driven through some countryside areas which absolutely flatten speeds in the main centres as virtually no one is using them but they need to exist (once clocked 10MBps [byte, not bit] on a stretch between Battambong and PP).

I was actually surprised at the poor 4g coverage in the UK with a couple of networks when I was last there after having been here spending a whole 3 dollars a week between two services (in KH that is, it was a great deal more for the the crap UK providers).

Thanks for all the suggestions! The green penthouse in Phnom Penh looks sick! And happy to hear that 4G is reliable too. Wish it was like that in the Philippines too.
