Post by Kala283 »

Hello guys have any of you encountered this & have any advice, I currently have a 6 month lease but will have to leave Cambodia urgently & go back to my home country,
I notified my landlord (her daughter deals with everything) & now she refuses to reply to any msg & calls I make, i just want to settle up before I leave in a couple of days.

If you've tried your best what else can you do? And anyway, didn't you pay a deposit? Wouldn't that cover whatever you owe?

Yeah obviously the deposit covers the electric bill etc
I suppose I will have to leave the key with neighbors when I leave, she was always very nice & helpful with maintenance & everything before I notified her of my leave. Bizarre.

When you leave, take photos of the apartment in good condition, of the meters and of you handing over the keys. Screenshots of your messages about leaving.
