Last year when I renewed my car license I asked for my big bike (above 125cc) to be added but the prick ignored me. This year I got a female and told her I had a big bike license before but never renewed because I heard that when HE went over the new bridge he cancelled all m/bike licenses - she said that was true but for 125cc and below. I explained my bike was a 150cc and I had a license before but thought I didnt need anymore in Cambodia but it was important I had for my medical and travel insurance. When I did the usual renewal process and went back to her desk she said I now had a big bike license as well as a car. A smile and some charm goes a long way

This was many years ago, but I took the test and thought I would pass, because I know how to drive. Somehow, amazingly, I failed the part that's like parallel parking. Then they didn't want to give me a license.

Basically if you want to avoid this, you're expected to pay in advance.
