Does anyone work as a freelance programmer?

Is it enough to earn a living in Cambodia doing freelance programming jobs?
I'm sure there are a few people doing it already and maybe had to leave Thailand already.

It totally depends where you get your freelance gigs. From western country? Sure, you can live very well in Cambodia.
Getting work from freelancer platforms competing with Indians? You might do ok if you are lucky but you do need to know some very specific language or just do lot of small gigs.
Freelancing for Cambodian clients? Nope, you cannot live with that money.
