Air Con engineer needed
Air Con engineer needed
Does anyone know of a good air con engineer? I need someone who can diagnose a problem. I have been through two Khmer guys and they have done to usual stuff namely flushing out the units and gassing them up. Nothing has worked. I need someone who knows what they are doing, not just trained to flush and gas.
The problem is that the unit cannot produce air lower than 18 degrees centigrade with an intake of 25 degrees. When the intake is hotter it cannot produce cool air below 20 degrees. I have read that there should be a 15 to 20 degree difference between the intake and output.
The bedroom unit pumps out at 14 degrees all the time. Both units are LG.
As always, many thanks in advance...

Re: Air Con engineer needed
I am thinking this might have something to do with it. Exposed copper pipe (very cold) and badly insulated thereafter.
Constant dripping meaning very cold pipes exposed to air and condensing.

So it has been cleaned and gaz checked ?
so it could only be a thermostat problem ?

Re: Air Con engineer needed
It's been cleaned regularly and gas checked as well.
Could be a thermostat problem. The remote control unit does have a room temperature feature and that reading is quite accurate. I am not sure if this has any effect on the unit or is just for information purposes for the user.
