Fresh buffalo mozzarella?

Post by Clemen »

Does anyone know if someone is doing this commercially here? I was told there was a place in Siem Reap but that they closed. The only fresh mozzarella I have seen here is imported.
Thanks
I have a vacation coming up and I want to learn

I don't know about buffalo mozzarella, but L'oasi Italian restaurant in Siem Reap sells great fresh mozarella, and cured meats and other cheeses too.

Buffalo mozzarella is available in Thai Huot usually, I'm guessing imported also - but it's there more often than not.

Yes, I would like to learn how to make it. I could have made that more clear in my original post.
I have found a place that makes it in Laos and two in Thailand, but so far, nothing in KoW

You can't get buffalo milk. India has it. Not Cambodia.
Too bad.

Mozzarella is easy to make.

Lots of how to vids on YouTube.

You could use cow milk from moo moo farms.

Yep, I live in Luang Prabang, north Laos. The local supermarket sells fresh buffalo mozarella and yogurt that's produced just out of town. I usually buy the yogurt most days.
