Show money at the airport.

I need help here,
Is it true that when you arrive at any of the airports in Cambodia you will be asked to show money not below 1,000 USDs that you are going to use during the trip?

Are you African? particularly Nigerian ....chances are unfortunately yes. also you will probably need to get the visa in advance as they may turn you away for a Visa On Arrival also the following countries get a hard time of Afghanistan, Algeria, Bangladesh, Iran, Iraq, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka and Sudan.
If not then it shouldnt be a problem...

Am African.
From Uganda. Was told by my travel agency that I must have 1000 USDs in cash to show at the airport.

It is true, several Africans have reported the same in the past. There is much racism towards Africans here.
