Climbing (for kids) in Phnom Penh

Post by Kammekor »

Anybody knows where to go? Kidsworld on Sihanouk offered a nice low-profile, easy access and safe experience, but they quit about 3 months ago. But my kid loves an occasional climbing exercise when in 'the Penh'. So anyone?

I've been there but I didn't do any climbing personally. There's a small side with a big mat to fall on that doesn't require any safety rope and then in the back one of those straight tall walls that you need the rope and a partner to safely climb. They have classes with instructors for the rope side but you can climb any time you want with a partner (who knows their stuff I guess) or on the safe side.

I'm not a climber so I don't know the terminologies but the place seemed fine.

My son (16 y.o.) climbs there every week with his friends. The kids love it, it's safe, nice instructors. Many kids from the PP expat' community go there.
