Tourist Visa Extension (Under 6 months passport validity)?

Hi! Would appreciate it if someone could give me some advice on my current situation...

I'm aware that anyone on a tourist visa can extend their visa for 1 month without having to leave the country. Unfortunately, I miscalculated my expiry date and Feb 1st was 6 months before my passport expiry... My current visa will expire on Feb 12 and my flight is scheduled for March 4. Is there any way I can get the 1 month extension with my passport being under 6 months now? Due to other circumstances, I'd prefer extending my passport once I return back to my home country. Not sure what the consequences will be for 20 days overstay other than having to pay $10 per day, but if I do, what are the chances of getting blacklisted for 20 days? Thanks ahead!

No, you must have 6 months validity on your passport at the time of your Visa/Extension of stays expiry date.

You will not get blacklisted for an overstay of 20 days, as long as you front up and pay the fine when departing...just don't do anything stupid enough to get you arrested in the meantime.
