Is an Exit Visa Required for new paassport for K visa holder?

Hi
My daughter entered Cambodia on an Australian passport and got a permanent K visa on entry.
The passport has expired and she now has received a new Australian passport issued in PP.
As I still have the old passport with the K visa and entry stamp and paper slip for departure, can she depart on her new Australian passport if I show both passports at the airport?
I know with foreign passports you are required to get an exit visa when leaving on a new passport for the first time. But she is a K visa holder, so would this make a difference?
Anyone had experience in leaving Cambodia like this?
Saves going out to immigration and paying for an exit visa if not required.
Thanks

Previously K-type Visas were issued for life, they are now only issued for the validity of the passport, therefore in your situation you will need to obtain an Exit Visa and a new K-type Visas upon return.
However, if the kid has a Cambodian passport, then they can exit on that without requiring an Exit Visa.

On the K visa it is marked "PERMANENT STAY PERMITTED" though next to expiry or remarks. Would that make a difference?
If an exit visa is required do you get the exit visa straight away at the immigration office or does it take a few days to process?

Yes, the exit visa take a few days to process.
So, if you're going to go to Immigration to get an exit visa, you may as well take the kids' old passport with the K visa in it and ask first whether a new exit visa is required.
This may have some useful info

Just take the old passport with valid K visa as you exit.
Get new K visa when you land.
The old visa is still valid.

Since your K-type visa is a permanent one which doesn't have an expiry date, then you won't need an Exit Visa, just do as Laud John said.
