It's an M16 A1, standard issue for Republican army troops in 1970-75. In use by all factions since but increasingly rare. That one looks in surprisingly clean condition.

There is a guard outside a gold shop opposite the central market who has a very old and well used M16.

Yes psd_kiwi. Some of us don’t sleep with guns under their pillows and get given handguns for their 10th birthday! ;)
