We are thinking of taking a trip and our family has both Chinese and British nationals. Which countries near Cambodia can we fly to that are visa-free on visa-on-arrival for both Chinese and British nationals? Thanks.

This rate is the same for any passenger of any age. Infants need to pay this visa fee as well. The Indonesia visa on arrival can be extended once by another 30 days. The Indonesia visa fee can be paid in cash or credit card. If you pay with cash you can use US Dollars or any other major currency. You will find a piece of paper at the VOA payment counter with the current price in your currency.

Why would you go to Nepal? There are no scheduled direct flights from Cambodia, the flights there are expensive, and Kathmandu is a total shithole. Nepal makes sense if you're going for a 2-4 week hiking trip, otherwise it doesn't.

Go to Macau or Hong Kong or the Maldives.

have to agree with Cam. Love Nepal BUT to go costs a lot of $ to get there and its not the nicest capital city in the region.
How about Myanmar, (Evisa or VOA) Singapore, (Evisa), Thailand (VOA ), KL, (VOA) Bali, HK

NOTE: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Chinese are not required to obtain a visa

Good point about no direct flights. Not convenient without some thinking and planning. Doesn't fit with visa-on-arrival or visa-free convenience.

Malaysia: Wiki looks out of date for Chinese citizens -
"Between 1 March 2016 and 31 December 2017, Chinese citizens do not require a visa for Malaysia for a stay of up to 15 days, however online registration prior to arrival is required."

What the Wiki has to say about entry requirements for Chinese citizens:

"Visa on arrival is available from 1 October 2018.
eVisa is also available. Holders must arrive via Yangon, Nay Pyi Taw or Mandalay airports.
Visa on arrival is available if departing from Guangzhou by Myanmar Airways."

It's not Oct 1 yet and the other condition is out too - not in Guangzhou.

I figure that Richard was kidding about Bosnia and Herzegovina (it's in Europe - not close). Thank you Cam and Richard. Your input is much appreciated. Kathmandu was a shithole when I was last there in 1996, can't imagine it's any better nowadays. Doesn't Vietnam have a visa waiver for Brits?

Yes it does John (15 days), but not for Chinese.
