After over a month here I'm still at a loss as to what's available work-wise and if it's possible to settle into the 'slow lane' in Phnom Penh (which is what I need right now). I seriously need some advice on work and living in Cambodia from other expats. If you know some British, European or American expat clubs where I might be able to find such people I would greatly appreciate your suggestions. Thank you.

Not exactly sure what an expat club is, or why anyone would want to join one, bars are a great source of advice from expats

Maybe try the Hash House Harriers?

I don't go to bars, but sports clubs, social clubs anything else is good.

There was a cabal around a long time ago, but it seems to have died
