Automobile Inspection Sticker

I am receiving conflicting info on this topic.
Some are telling me only vehicles for hire need this inspection.
Others are telling me any vehicle over 5 yrs. old needs inspection.
Anyone here no the truth?

new car first 10 years no need inspection, after 10 yrs inspection every 2 yrs, on year of inspection, no inspection cert cannot pay road tax

That is 98% of the answer I received while getting my inspection sticker.
They have a mobile unit at the Public Works & Transpo Dept. in Kampot. Finishes this coming Friday.
Was told any vehicles over 5 yrs. As mine is closer to 25 that did not matter.
BTW> $13.00 all in. rather streamlined experience. Considering it was very busy. In & out 2+ hrs.
