Moving to combodia with not much money. Is it hard for Americans to find work. Also what jobs are available.

first up, it is Cambodia.
about the only work is teaching English.
you probably need a tefl certification, and locals are very racist, so being white helps.

theres jobs out there but chances are if you poor in the USA then your gonna be poor in KoW.

Assume it's going to cost you at least $600 a year on visas and permits, at least $600 a year for insurance, and at least $600 a month to live at a very basic level. You'll get 7 months in the country without a work permit, then you have to leave. Even if you do get work, it might take a month of working before you see a cent.

If you're smart, you'll have a year in the bank, so around $10k.

If you can't afford that, don't have cash for emergency an flight home, and have no skills that might be employable here, just stay home.

There is no safety net here. To be blunt, no one will give fuck about you dying in the street, including your embassy.
