Thanks to all who have checked it out in the past, but it's worth another look now.

As CEO grows, we want include more Khmer cultural pieces to the content, so I will post here about New Releases as they are released as well as older books that are re-released in new formats.

I still need to finish Sebastian Strangio's book "HE's Cambodia" one of these days.

NJH's book is consistently the most popular for the past 12 months, believe it or not.

NJH should have written this one.

Lots of great illustrations and drawings in it.
Apparently the publisher's house burnt down, and she lost a lot of work, but she replaced this among one of the first.

” ‘Kbach’ is the general term, used in the Khmer language, to name the variety of ornaments which decorate objects and architectural surfaces throughout Cambodia. Although ‘kbach’ have been studied by both scholars and artists, we have found that most of these studies primarily collect ornaments into pages of examples without presenting the thinking behind their creation and elaboration.

“In Cambodia today, students trying to learn ‘kbach’ tend to simply copy from these examples, replicating complex ornaments without understanding the system through which they are formed. Thus they generally do not have the ability to create new compositions of ornaments, or to use the existing ornamental language for their own purposes. About the Author: Brigadier General Boraden Nhem currently serves as assistant to General Tea Banh, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense of Cambodia. He previously served as Deputy Director of the Institute of Military History. He is also an adjunct lecturer at the Department of International Studies, Royal University of Phnom Penh. He received his PhD in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Delaware (United States) in 2014 after previous studies in Cambodia and France. He is a graduate of the US Army Command and General Staff College, class of 14–02, where he also graduated with an MMAS in Military History. He has authored a previous book, which examined the entire military history of the Khmer Rouge (1950s–1999).
