We are staying in PP tonight and just saw some amazing fireworks in the city - away from the river.
Does anyone know what they were about?
Some really cool fireworks!

The fireworks displays in PP are usually pretty impressive.

Is it a public holiday or someone importants birthday or something today?

The ones for the King Mother's birthday were better, and obviously closer to Riverside. I should check when the King's birthday is. Wait, we already had that, were there fireworks?

"UNESCO said Sambor Prei Kuk had been identified as Ishanapura, the capital of the ancient Chenla Empire, a Khmer civilization that flourished in the late 6th and 7th centuries and preceded the Khmer Empire."

Yup every year. My daughters birthday is the 14th may as well and I always tell her I bought the fireworks for her. LOL.

Yes, I am a miserable old git but for me all fireworks are a waste of money, especially in a country like Vietnam. Germany spent 133 million Euros on fireworks last year, the things that money could be used for.....
