Helium-where can I buy it?

And no, it's not for squeaky voice antics
I need about one small tank of it for a kid's birthday party. Cost and location would be nice if you have that info. Thanks.

maybe just use hydrogen made in a bottle with lye ( caustic soda ) water and al foil.
helium is CRAZY expensive,
if a balloon's worth of h2 explodes, it in not like the hindenburg or anything.
teenage boys used to do that sort of thing as a pastime.
maybe it is no longer allowed.
now, a garbage bag full of acetylene, that is something a bit more serious in the practical joke line.
though nothing near as funny as frozen cod heads and guts fired by hairspray thru a 6 inch spud gun at japanese fishing vessels in the bering straits.
put quite a decent dent in a hull within abt 800 meters

Isn't hydrogen what the local balloon sellers use? I have seen some nasty accidents, and results of, when those balloons have come into contact with an open flame.
