We would like to eat a real happy pizza in Phnom Penh city

Post by steve22 »

I have tried a few of the happy pizza places on the river side in Cambodia and ever time I have tried one I don't get high at all. Are these places fake now? Do they even use weed? I was here in around 2006 and I was freakishly high. I am starting to wonder if they have stopped using weed. Is it still legal?

And why have you removed the marijuana smiley face?

I doubt it was ever legal, just not cracked down on much back then. I'm sure you need to specify that you want marijuana on your happy pizza, if they even do that anymore. They won't put it in if you don't specify that, despite having "Happy Pizza" in their name.

Well it seemed legal! And yes, I always ask for it happy.

Brooklyn Pizza Staff looked at me like I was crazy! There was a foreigner who looked like the boss so I thought it might be fine. I didn't push it with the lady or talk to him.

I might have to bring my own weed to a place.

Brooklyn Pizza has never offered that option, as far as I know. Cambodia has changed quite a bit in that respect over the past decade, for better or for worse.

Ha! Brooklyn Pizza DEFINITELY doesn't offer that! I'm guessing the server didn't even have a clue what you were asking!

And definitely wasn't legal then.

Some places still offer it, but it does seem hit or miss.

Try Pink Elephant on the riverside, or a place on the left side of the street heading AWAY from the river on the street where FCC is. Half a block off the riverside.

And we never had a :weed: smiley, to my knowledge, LoL.

You asked for Happy Pizza at Brooklyn, no wonder you didn't get a buzz!

Ha ha ha! Wish I was there to see that, that would have been priceless.

One of the cherished CEO members managed to get herbs on his pizza at a CEO day function on Riverside and quickly became very mellow, from memory. No names, of course (unless he wants to 'fess up).

Ha! That was funny...

And there's another suggestion.

Try Happy Phnom Penh Pizza. On the riverside with the cluster of others.

The one on 178 or 172 (can't remember) is pretty good. I've always been quite happy with the results.
