Help finding work

Can anyone give me an idea on finding work in Cambodia ? I have experience managing a couple of guest houses that eventually got sold. I also have EMR training completed in Canada. Any help would be appreciated, I love Cambodia, what else can I say ? I have spent 2 of the last six years in Phnom Penh, Kep, Kampot and Sihanoukville. I just want to make enough to live but I can be a valuable asset to someones business or guest house. My EMR training can be used to help guests or fellow employees, as well as any Khmer who needs help. Best Regards, I hope this question is not outside the rules. Peace, Rob Wilson [email protected]

Very few things are outside the rules; hell, if you're not name calling or being racist, it's almost certainly allowed...

What salary goal do you have in mind?

Hi General, I just sent you a pm but just noticed your response to my post. I am wanting a room, food, some work to keep me busy and maybe 100 hundred a month just so i can keep my EMR kit full and reloaded as I go and rent a scooter. I have been on facebook and not seen much. So I hope someone can help me or spread the word. I think I would be good working for several guest houses, bars and girl bars so everything is kept low key but all the guests and employees have someone to look after them. Oh, I would also like to find someone to help me learn Khmer, a local girl ? ( a wink but serious to ). As always, thanks My General, Rob W (jadeface)

If your name is known around town with expats, travelers, rich cunts and local wannabes you will be fine.

if your just know by khmers then your fucked.

hence the arse kissing gossipy nature of cambodias expats scenes begins.

I think you got some good advice on the other thread you started, you basically need to come and develop some contacts. There are a lot more services ie. hospitals, clinics, ambulances, than just a few years ago, so work is out there. You could also possibly specialise in attending OD cases and there's a huge need for mental care, expats and locals alike :hattip:
