Where to buy small-ish chest freezer?

Post by chkwoot »

I'm looking for a good, energy efficient, frost free chest freezer with a capacity of about 5 cubic feet/.5 cubic meters. I've tried multiple K-Four and Sunsimexco (Akira) shops, but couldn't find anything of reasonable quality or price. Any good suggestions appreciated. Thanks!

A quick google search came up with the following:

Midea - #88 Mao Tse Toung (near TTP High School)

KC Electronics - #874 St.128 Toul Kork

LSK Electronics - #898 St.128 Toul Kork

Good luck.

That Midea store is certainly worth a look.
Also on Mao Tse Tung, and after Midea heading towards Intercontinental, after American Intercon School, after May Bank there is a large showroom of a Chinese brand with tons of fridges and freezers in various sizes.

On Sihanouk, opposite the Olympic Stadium are a few little independent appliance stores which are much better value than the big stores.

I'm sorry, I can't help it - but when I read your subject line I wondered why you'd want to freeze your small-ish chest.
