K-VISA fixed term deposits

Hey guys,

I was wondering if anyone has lived outside the country and deposited fixed term deposits stashed in one of the Cambodian Banks. Does having a K-Visa help in opening an account? Any suggestions on what banks can do this without hidden fees or agendas without me having to reside there?

Banks usually require a physical address in Cambodia (lease, ownership docs) or local phone number to open an account, easily done, but you need to physically go into a branch to open an account.

Yes, you can open an account with a K-type visa.
