Along the way with the 'Style Queens of 1960s Saigon' topic post345867.html#p345867 I came across bar girl/GF pics of that era.. hence this separate topic. Not Cambodia but 'After Dark' seemed the most suitable place. Further instalments to come.

Yes, Spigzy....that goes without saying I'm sure, OK? Not sure why you felt the need to tag me.
....and another thing....my sobriquet did not come from 'Jaws', it was my call sign from my days as an NFO in the Navy. It came from an unfortunate incident in my early days which involved a 'borrowed' flight-line truck and a subsequent punch-up with a gaggle of Airforce MP's. The truck in question had a 'brody knob' on the steering wheel which allowed for my deft drunken maneuvering of said vehicle....though not deft enough as myself and my mates were eventually rounded up and put in hack for a spell.
And....the next morning after standing tall before the skipper and recounting the previous nights activities......I was branded, Brody.

Deefer's vid above refers to The Animals hit: 'We gotta get out of this place' usually the last song played at servicemen shows. There are of course many, many other Vietnam related songs of that era. Maybe it's a good idea to intersperse some here amongst the pics? Anyway, if members agree, I'll kick off with my favourite of the time.. 'Gimme shelter' by the Rolling Stones..
