Currently I live in Pattaya. I've never been to Phnom Penh. When Thailand gets more expensive (not soon but in the future) I think I'll move over. Will do a trip or two beforehand when my visa timing is good as well

Pattaya's girls are getting more mercenary by the year. By that I mean you have a higher chance of running into rush service, runners, or girls who turn robotic in the room.

I've heard in Phnom Penh there's less of that. Though also a smaller scene and the country as a whole is more conservative.

What does that mean for the bar girls? I guess more girlfriendy in that they're more likely to kiss, not rush, etc but less likely to even give a bj?

Oftentimes when we compare places the medal automatically goes to Pattaya for selection and atmosphere. But if you were in a room with a Khmer vs a Thai bar girl, who gives the better session more often?

FYI:
very few things in Cambodia are cheaper than Thailand.

I prefer Khmer girls ( but I am prejudiced, as thats where my gf is from ) BUT value for money for picking up a girl in a bar, you'll get better Bang for your buck in Thailand

I live in phnom penh.have a khmer gf. But i spent years in thailand.particularly pattaya. For pure out girl fun patts wins hands down for me.beer is cheaper here thats about it.if your only after girl fun stay in patts.more choice.little difference in price and in my opinion and from my experience thai girls a lot wilder.thats my opinion.

You are about 15-20 years out of date on what you "heard", and as above better off staying in Pattaya.

Why do you guys believe Cambodia has one quarter to one half the per capita income of Thailand and matches it pricewise for bar girls?

Even pattaya was like 30% cheaper 5 years ago so it seems odd that Phnom Penh matches its costs

Wait, is this a price comparison of fanny, like, comparing the price of milk between different countries?

Pattaya bar beer girls have remained the same for a LONG time, 3-500 bar fine, 5-800 st, 1,000-2,000 all night, depending on ur bargaining skills

Go go girls have gone up from 1,500-4,000

Back when i first visited pattaya it was 100 baht bar fine, 500 baht all night but thats 35+ years ago and the baht was at 25 to the $1

Upcountry it was 300 baht all night out of a Mamasan baan

Compared to 10 years ago in pp, $5 bar fine, 10 ST, $20 all night, .now there asking for $10 bar fines and $ 50 and up

Blame rising PP prices on all the pattaya expats doing visa runs and telling the locals how much they would get if they worked in Patts

It can't be just information can it? There must be a supply/demand issue in Phnom Penh to put prices relatively high for the economy. Less girls willing to ply the trade or maybe more expats than I realize

i think more freelances in Pattaya, PP they are generally pimped by bfs, brothers etc so need more money
