I think tourists now seem to be treated a lot differently and end up being fleeced because they are here ST. If you are known and have been here a long time ST is $5 and up around town. If a girl in a hostess bar thinks you are "serious"about her it will be nothing initially, she will just walk out and leave the bar and now she is your responsibility.

Speaking from experience, I think maybe the $5 is the best option
