basketball in phnom penh?

hey everybody,

i just moved to phnom penh and am looking to play some basketball?
either to just shoot around or play pick up games, but ideally if there is a league to join i'd like to do that?

any help would be much appreciated.

Great sport basketball, esp. in Cambodia........the players are approximately 1.45 meters tall.......so as an American you'll win easily.

I posted a thread on K440 asking about b-ball and got a few responses. I never did make it out to half of the places, but it seems there's a few "leagues". Tried the Mormon church, but no one really knew how to play and gave up after two nights.

^^But I would have expected more from them, seems how they had a dedicated basketball court built into their church. Seemed odd to me in the first place to have a basketball court in a church, but hey...nothing the mormons ever did really made sense to me either...

cool, what were the names of the places and leagues that you found out about? besdies the mormon church
