Cambodian Athlete Ranks No. 1 in the Thailand Jetski World Cup 2017

Phnom Penh (FN), Dec. 9 – A Cambodian male athlete has won three trophies, including Rank No. 1 for Amateur Ski Limited and Amateur Ski 1500 Stock and won the third place for the Novice Ski Stock in the Thailand Jetski World Cup 2017 in Pattaya, Thailand.

There were international players from more than 40 countries participating from Dec. 7 to 10, 2017.

The athlete is from Kratie province, a team member from Flamingo Jetski Cambodia, a delegation of Water Sport Federation of Cambodia (WFC), led by under-secretary of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport.

This is the first time that WFC has sent the Cambodian national team to an official competition and has been honored as the best player.

Cambodia, Among Top 5 for Jet Ski World Cup 2021 in Thailand

Two Cambodians were ranked 4th and 5th for Ski GP from the competition of Jet Ski World Cup 2021 held on April 24-25 in Thailand.

Two Cambodian Jet Ski riders Mr. Saly Oumoeut and his cousin Mr. Min Mustan are winners among the top-5 for Ski GP in the contests.

There were 30 athletes from countries worldwide joining the Ski GP subject, and the top winner was from Belgium, while the 2nd and 3rd from France.

Taking place from April 21 to 25 in Pattaya city, the tournament attracted many athletes from countries around the world.

Cambodia Jet Ski Riders Expect Gold Medal at WGP#1 World Series
AKP Phnom Penh, September 29, 2023 --

Cambodian Jet Ski riders expect gold medals at the WGP #1 World Series, round 3, to take place in the U.S. from Oct. 4 to 8.

The expectation was shared by H.E. Nos Sleh, President of the Watercraft Federation of Cambodia (WFC), with the full confidence of his team, especially Mr. Kai Vansiden.

The WGP#1 World Series, round 1, took place in Poland from May 18 to 21, while round 2 was organised in France from July 27 to 30.

During round 2, Cambodian Jet Ski riders won two gold, one silver, and one bronze medals.

The final round of the games will happen in Thailand on Dec. 13–17, he added.

A group of nine Cambodian Jet Ski riders led by Mr. Saly Ou Moeut departed Cambodia for the U.S. on Sept. 24.
