Lets just say hypothetically that I travel to North Korea and like it so much I want to stay a few years.
Would it be possible to stay long term in North Korea or even fully emigrate to North Korea?

You could probably go to their embassy and ask about it. I've heard of westerners defecting to NK, but I've never heard of anyone just moving there.
